How are there people so cruel on our planet. The perpetrators don’t deserve to breathe the same air. Simon’s law would be a good start towards the recognition of what moronic people should do to acknowledge what they have done. Perhaps there could be a permanent record which follows them through their lives to tell anyone who comes into contact with them of what they are capable of.
Hats off to Simon, his wife and family for what they are trying to achieve. My love goes out to them.

I want to be able to decide if my child should have a DNR order. My 22 year old child who functioned like a 3 month old her entire life had a good life, and she was loved!

I support simoms law all the way because every parent should be able to decide what medical care is given to their child. Killing your unborn baby because it may be a little differnt then the other babies is wrong in so many ways and for a doctor to push you to have an abortion because of the fact is sick. How can you not look at an ultrasound and feel your baby move and kick and not fall in love. For hospitals to deny your child life threatening medical treatment without your consent for thier "abnormalities" is wrong in so many ways. My daughter has down syndrome and I found out she had it before she was born. Do you think I ever once thought about killing her while she was in my stomach? No I did not because I knew she was going to be no different than anyone else and I would love her just the same and treat her no different. As a mother how can you carry a baby for 9 months felling those little kicks and hearing their little hearbeat and not fall in love. Being different is beautiful and an extra chromosome just means more to love. It's ok to be different. We need to come together as one and put a stop to this. Demand that your child recieves any and all medical treatment needed to live. No child wants to die they all want a chance to live. Trust me they will show you more love than you ever thought unimaginable. Please don't let these doctors and nurses kill our babies lets work together to save our babies. DIFFERENT IS BEAUTIFUL
