I first read "the Blood Crows" about three years ago, and since then have been utterly addicted to the adventures of Cato and Macro. I would LOVE to see a mini-series or better still film of Under the Eagle when Cato first arrives at the 2nd Legion. I also love Bestia!

Given the scope of the novels, I feel that a series would be the beteer option. The TV series "Rome" shows how popular the genre is. As "Game of Thrones" is drawing to a close then fans of a well scripted, sprawling, action oriented big budget series will be needing something to fill that void.

Would love to see it as a high budget t.v. series, such as how BBC has been making Bernard Cromwell's Last Kingdom series. It's just simply far too long and involved of a story at this point to try to break it down into two to three hour films, and far too good of a story to leave it only partially done like what was done with the Percy Jackson movies.

Hi, after listening to the first audio book in Simon Scarrow's exciting and amusing series about Cato & Macro my wife and I are hooked. We will continue through the series to the last book. Regarding film or TV series, either would be good but we would favor a continuing TV zeries.

The books are addictive and the characters are so well described I know what they look like. Thank you Mr. Scarrow, these books helped my mum and myself through quite a difficult time. This series is outstanding - any film of mini-series will never truly interpret the talent of Scarrow's famous characters but it will help to put significant flesh to Macro and Cato and also those who have never had the good fortune to read these books.

As a reader of the Eagle series most roman films try to hard to mix reality politics and war this is Rome on the ground. Marco and cato are relateable characters and the stories are definatley not one sided please make this series. Hbo studios are the only ones capable of pulling this off.

I wholeheartedly support filming production of the Roman series as the stories are brilliant and really interesting. There are not nearly enough Rome films to watch.

Why do we need the fantasy genre when human history is every bit as compelling?

'Lost Legion and 'Centurian' show that really good films can be made about the Roman Army. If Simon Scarrow was able to be the script writer, I'm sure something really worth watching could be created.

I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every book in the series written by Mr. Scarrow. Even after fearing that someday I'll eventually become inured to their narrow escapes and ultimate successes on the heels of inevitable setbacks, I quite simply never have! I can't think of anything much more wonderful than seeing the Roman world of Macro and Cato having leapt off the written page and squarely onto the catalogue of one of my favorite streaming services. So, let's get this done and dusted people!

Wow …. under the EAGLES Scarrow has written that much material for 2 seasons over twenty books, each adventure has a plot to keep you guessing, makes military life glorious set in 42AD -61AD both Cato & Marco veterans of the old Roman Guard , Cato has a smart mind and always has a plan for getting out of trouble, Marco can be relying on to motivate the auxiliary cohorts, there fearless commanders fighting for their life’s just to survive any mission that might threaten them on the battlefield, protecting the empire until the next chapter.

If ever a book series deserves to be produced for Tv or Cinema this one does.

Fun and grippjng characters, fast paced story lines , and a popular era with the likes of bbcs "Rome" and more recently Amazon's "Those who are about to die" or Sky's "Brittania".
