I’ve known Jeff for a long time and he’s a good man. Please consider his early release at his parole hearing.

I have known Jeff Simmons for 22 years . I know he is a hard working ,dependable, and honest man..and I consider him to be NO Threat to society what so ever.. I have no reservation at all in recommending His release from prison. Furthermore the crime that he was accused and found guilty of due to the farce plea deal he made . Was completely a neglect of guidance and representation of his lawyer... It is completely out of character to do the crime witch he was charged..no one will ever convince me that Jeff Simmons done what his accuser said he did.. I urge you to please consider Jeff Simmons being released as soon as possible. He has been away from his family to long already and his son Wes Needs him home. Thank you taking time to read this recommendation. Greg Payne,,,

Jeff is a generous, caring and serving individual. He is a good father and his wife Tiffany adores him so he is obviously a wonderful husband. We miss him at church and we pray that he will be paroled so we can have him back with us.

I have known Jeffrey Simmons for approximately 7 years. During that time we have attended church together, served in various groups and ministries together and our families have gathered together loving and supporting one another and doing life together. We consider Jeff, Tiffany, and Wes family. As a woman, I take very seriously allegations of sexual or violent crimes and wholeheartedly support victims of those crimes, but I also know that sometimes people lie for their own reasons and innocent people get hurt. I believe there has been a serious miscarriage of justice in Jeff’s case. I do not believe that the man I know could have committed the crimes for which he is incarcerated. I do believe that he is a victim of a woman scorned who took revenge and a lawyer who took his money and advised him badly to take a plea deal, which he was told would mean no jail time, instead of fighting for his innocence in a case where the physical and dna evidence was just not there and the DA took an easy win. However, Jeff did sign the plea deal, he was sentenced to prison anyway, and he will soon complete his minimum sentence. During the time he has been incarcerated, Jeff has been a model prisoner with no disciplinary actions. He works hard at the jobs he has been given in prison and he is a constant encourager to those around him. Our church group has done our best to make sure Jeff was receiving devotionals, bible studies, and Christian literature while he is incarcerated. Jeff has made it his habit to share his materials and what he is learning with other inmates who are interested. From those humble beginnings, a ministry has begun that has seen inmates come to Christ. Jeff and other inmates read together and discuss Gods word and what it means in practical ways. The materials that we have sent to Jeff and others are being shared and passed around all over the prison and lives are being changed for the better. We receive cards and letters thanking us for caring and sending t

I firmly believe that Jeff has served more than the time due to him and that he will be an asset to the community and his family when he is allowed to assimilate back to real life.

I have known Jeff and Tiffany for a long time. He is a Christian Man who loves his family and friends. He has always available for those who needed help in any way. I believe that he should be released back to his loving family and allowed to rebuild the trust of his community. Again, please consider Jeff for parole. Thank you, Lawanda Smith.

I’ve known Jeff for many years and feel he was done wrong by the criminal justice system. When he’s released, he will be NO PROBLEM to anyone - I’m fully confident of that. If I can be of any assistance or help his release in any way, I’m available. 256-441-4644. Thank you.
