Silverberry Night Racers

They just wait for people that don't slow down in time for the 30 km/h zone so they can get their revenue. They do nothing to curb the ACTUAL dangerous drivers.

I would like Speed Bumps installed on Silverberry Road between 33 Ave NW and 3 St NW, all these cars come off 33 Ave NW onto Silverberry and squeal tires and Race towards 34St. Needs to Stop

It is large problem with noise and speed by the co-op and the road is still to get bigger.

I back into Silverberry Road and the passing, racing and noise is ridiculous. Additionally when walking in the area you have to be extra careful walking and crossing the streets. Drivers to do not observe the pedestrians at all.

Something also needs to be done on 17th street also

We have grandchildren living on this Road, right across from the playground. The traffic is crazy. Drivers think this road is a freeway! The city needs to slow the traffic down on this road before someone is seriously hurt or worse!!

Thank you for taking time to do this. I have called the EPS multiple times in the last few years about people speeding. I was told last year that this area of Silverberry is unfortunately not “bad enough” with problems like speeding and crime to have a group contact attached to contact & do follow ups.

We witnessed a horrible collision outside our home and it was a result of speed. This needs to stop.

There definitely needs to be more enforcement and speed reduction planning done in Silverberry. You can drop the speed limit to 30km/hr but it you don’t enforce it, it means nothing to some people and does nothing to protect people

Please stop the dragstrips.

I have to agree that it has become a regular occurrence of seeing people racing through this area and the speed limit is set at 30 KM!We never see any enforcing of these speed limits so I hope something can be done to protect the citizens is Silverberry!

Always been a concern even where i live in tamarack, any where i can helo you have my support.

We have same issue in maple crest on 8th street.

Larkspur, Tamarack, Maple especially! All of the Meadows. I have lived in both Silverberry and Tamarack for the past 16 years, and this is a concerning issue.

It’s beyond crazy.. my husband is constantly telling people to slow down. I sit on my front porch and worry about kids crossing at crosswalk.

I have been listening to revving engines and racing engines for almost 10 years now. Usually after 10 pm, some times as early as 8pm. You can hear the cars up and down the roads around silverberry, the meadows, tamarack, larkspur. It’s so loud And dangerous. At some point it has to stop. Many have tried to complain but then we get asked “what make and model of car”, “what color was the car”, “what is the plate number”, and “who was driving the car”.... and then even if you know ANY of the details we are asked to provide all our personal details because if they go to court they have a right to know who complained. When is any of this going to end? Someone has to take this matter seriously.
