Silver Ticket for Barbara Fingerote
Barbara is going to come and see our shows anyway, probably more than once. I just thought that it might be nice to lift some of the financial burden from her diminutive shoulders so that she can keep coming back as often as the front row middle seat is available to her. Barbara has been a keen supporter of Toronto Theatre since her arrival in the city, from her hometown of Winnipeg, in 1973. I first came across Barbara in 1990 when she had begun her first stint as a volunteer usher at Theatre Plus. Since then she has established herself as the community's most committed usher, lending her time and devotion to the Tarragon, Theatre Centre, Factory, Passe Muraille, Young Centre, Fringe Festival, Summerworks, Luminato and anyone else who asks. If you want to see more of "Front Row Barbara" and her encouraging smile then please sign this petition in support of awarding her The Silver Ticket at this years Dora Awards.
