There are small minded people that do not pay tax because they are wealthy and have found loop holes to let the live tax free so no they do not ant anything that resembles forward thinking.

New York needs all the help it can get. Not more stagnation and evacuation. Let a positive project for this area happen.

Yes, I had been a resident of Amenia in the passed for over 5 years ...waiting for the Silo Ridge project to come through. Thus area needs the progess to support revenue and people need employment! This would be a great accomplishment to the area and needs to happen.

What could be wrong w adding a few homes to the community? Why do these small towns have people who move here and then want the place all to themselves?

The benefits from this project will help the town starting immediately and the future. From helping generate taxes to fund the highway department for repair and improvements and for the schools to update buildings and equipment.
The entire project is a win win situation for the town, without putting any strain of infrastructure, Project is self sufficient. Let's start benefiting ASAP. Make Amenia great again!

Amenia is still a beautiful town and I applaud all who are working to keep our hometown thriving. In rescuing Amenia, it will most definitely carry over to the surrounding areas. It is a win win situation for sure. Good luck!

The benefits would go beyond Amenia and spread to neighboring towns. Local small businesses would benefit and prosper.

By constantly shutting down development and raising unnecessary issues and hurdles the lawsuit barring groups have hindered the upward mobility of the middle class in this area. The wealthy group of individuals who oppose this development are the same group of people who are self serving their own agendas. By allowing a group to develop this property, great community goods can be achieved. New businesses may flourish or fail, but without changes this area will continue to be the last stop on the MTA. This area will continue to be only a passage to a final destination rather than a destination itself.
Yea silo ridge!
