Although I am not a resident, I am a business owner and own a building in town. I wish folks would not try to stop a high-end development like this, when other towns are being overrun with large box stores like Walmart. Silo Ridge is a lovely development and will bring desperately needed funds and jobs into the area.

I see nothing negative about a high-end development like the one at Silo Ridge and believe it should receive support and encouragement.

I can see no negatives in this low density project of expensive homes. They new residents of these houses may prove insular but they will invariably add to business revenues and taxes while minimally drawing on town services.

We need more job opportunities for young adults around this area. We also need residents of the area, that have been here for years and years getting these job opportunities, not outsiders. We need change but change for the people for a better future.

The planned development will being much needed tax relief and jobs. The have nots need to stop with the envy of others. If they didn't want the Silo Ridge to be developed the should have bought it. I am so sick of others trying to control the much needed progress for this area. The towns are idling and have been for years .

Amenia has been at a stand still for years ,antique shops and sidewalk cafe are cute however they don't put food on the table for the struggling community members trying to raise families.
