WJKK WJKF, im going to take you back to 1984, when Indra Gandhi got shot by her two SIKH guards, due to OPERATION BLUESTAR, in Delhi when the news spread of her murder, the POLITICAL PARTY got their gunday[gangs, yobs] to attack SIKHS in Delhi, at that time, whole india stood still, no SIKHS were safe, if you had a turban or just wearing a karah[Sikh bangle] you will get attacked sooner or later. anyway in Delhi Sikhs were RAPED, MURDERED or LOOTED. and when The SIKHS that had somehow survived went to the police to REPORT THE CRIME, the Police took their details and told them to go home and wait, terrified the Sikhs went home, only to be visited by more gangs to finish them off. all this is a proven FACT, and TODAY's government of INDIA has also APOLOGISED for its actions on Harimandir Sahib[Golden Temple] in 1984, so all i ask is if INDIA knows about its injustice on SIKHS then give us indians a holiday, in rememberance of all that happened to sikhs in 1984, coz we should never ever forget 1984!

I started this because the trauma of 1984 still lives in my family and in the hearts of so many others who refuse to look away. Reading your stories about what happened to your own relatives has been overwhelming and confirms that this history needs formal recognition. We are pushing forward because true peace cannot exist while these wounds remain ignored.

Seeing this momentum grow feels like a weight shifting because for too long1984 has been pushed aside. Your support proves that the pain of my community is finally being acknowledged by people who refuse to let the truth fade away.

Too much time has passsed without anyone being held accountable. At least give us a day to remember those who were lost.

Never forget 1984. We need justice and recognition for our ancestors who suffered so much.
