Allow Women to do Kirtan & Sewa at Harmandir Sahib

this is ridiculous. Women should be allowed to do kirtan as per Gurbani. shame on SGPC

Please recognize & respect our Gurus Declaration Of Gender Equality. Please allow women to do Kirtan at the sanctum storum of Darbar Sahib./Golden Temple Amritsar. Thanks.

I strongly believe that women should be able to do Kirtan Seva at Harmandir Sahib. How can men sing Asa de war Kirtan at the temple which states that Women equal to man and not allow them to sing in the temple. This monopoly of male dominated traditions must end. As in a Sikh woman I am appalled and ashamed of this practice. These men who uphold this tradition should think what would Guru Nanak Dev Jee say if he was on this earth now. My dream is to see both men and women singing Kirtan together in the temple.

It is shocking that women are not allowed to perform Seva or Kirtan at Darbar Sahib.

Rehat maryada says women and men are EQUAL. Why is this not respected at the biggest gurdwara in the WORLD?!!

Singhniya should have same rights as a Singh has!

If we talk of equality, the equality has to be complete in everything.

As one married to a Khalsa, I find the fact that women are not included in Gurdwaras services hypocritical. Does it not say in SGGS that men and women are equal?

Equality for everyone or nothing. Human rights for everyone there IS NO DIFFERENCE Guru Nanak would be ashamed. Shame on you.

Sikhism is suppose to promote equality!! And this isn't equality..

Kirtan seva is made to be for both WOMEN and men. SGPC have been going against the Guru Granth Sahib Ji. No wonder the world hasn't been informed of Sikhi yet.
