I hate the administration sooo much. Like i got suspended for like breaking the rules....like WTF who would do that. The administration takes the rules like way too literally and they punish us for breaking them. Who do they think they are? They are acting like they run a school or something smh. Dear Kennedy, Curt, Noah, and your merry band of ignorant individuals, what you're doing here is just laughable. What do you think you're accomplishing by doing all this? You have no argument! Sure, the Charlie/Cale situation may have been mishandled, but other than that your complaints are petty and ridiculous. Furthermore, your attempts at sounding like you're smarter than the rest of us, who are clearly blind to these alleged mistreatments' you are experiencing, only reinforce the idea that you actually have no clue what you're talking about. Do you honestly feel like you are subject to some kind of injustice?! You go to an excellent school but choose to piss your education away and act like idiots. So lets just turn that beacon off, shall we? A real beacon of hope would be if you all graduated early or left. Then at the very least we wouldn't have to put up with your antics that actually cause the problems you are trying so hard to correct. If you weren't completely blinded by your own ignorance you would see that the administration actually lets you all get away a lot. Step down from your holy thrones and realize that you don't live in an idealistic Signal Mountain world were daddy can just buy the answers for you.

The way all of you talk about this school is as if you are angels who do nothing wrong and all of the fault goes to these administrators. No shit they are going to be somewhat strict when you screw with everything they do, defy them at every chance you get, and are constantly inebriated. The leniency that these people have to put up with all of your disrespect and still not get mad or crack down on nearly any situation is a shock. I would also just like for you to look at who the people are who keep complaining about these administrators that have "ruined our senior year." Constantly, these people are the ones who take jokes so far as to wanting to kill a fellow classmate because they screwed up with an out of control party, come to events intoxicated or so unaware of their surroundings that they will elbow parents. When you say that they have ruined your year, I would love to hear how they have done that. They have given everyone multiple warnings with your mishaps, especially at sporting events, like when everyone chants horrendous insults at not only the opposing team, but also their fellow classmates and teachers. When the administrators have things like this to deal with and instead of just cracking down at events they decide that they were not there and that they would like to trust the students, your accusations of them ruining your year are absurd. Also, you are all right when you had your signs and other petitions to let Ryan McCaffrey go to a football game even though he was suspended for being drunk AT A FOOTBALL GAME. How ignorant can you be to assume that this is a valid proposition. If you look at nearly any other school and compare the rules and ways that administrators handle issues, you could clearly see how easily these administrators go on all of us. Crisco Buscuit you sound like a total pussy and, assuming you actually are a student of signal mountain, are a traitor to your student body. Compared to other schools signal mountain's disciplinary problems are extremely insignificant and there are various other aspects to be considered as to why students are not thrilled. Gigi Leonard was wrongly blamed and suspended for an act she didn't even partake in. The administration did not put forth enough effort to investigate and actually pin the wrong doers - they just wanted to inflict punishment. Students have also made it abundantly clear that we do NOT want Mrs. Baxley planning prom because the majority of students did not enjoy it last year. Yet, after plainly hearing our concern and wishes, administration decided to neglect the fact and proceed without change. This is the first year in Signal Mountain history that their hasn't been a homecoming dance and a homecoming bonfire, both of which are very sentimental school traditions to students. You can blame students for being self righteous and spoiled, but something wrong must be taking place in a school when early graduation numbers are higher than ever, sporting event turnouts are lower than ever, and there is an overall absence of school spirit. I find this incredibly sad because physically, our school is a marvel and our academic and athletic accomplishments are something to marvel at. However, administration fails daily to connect with students on a meaningful level and relate to us that they care how we feel and think. School is more than just a breeding ground for high test scores and excellent disciplinary records but ours in not treated as such. Administration is only focused on these aspects rather than how they can make our experience at Signal Mountain High School memorable and enjoyable, which is where the problem lies.

The fuck happened while I was gone

I apologize in advance for the length of this post, but I promise, it’s worth the read. I am aware of the polarity of the situation regarding the administration and its handlings of recent events. In no way do I set out to intimidate or coax anyone into believing one thing or another about our administration, I simply ask that you take a moment to consider this situation as though it were yourself rather than me. So here it is: You get the email about Model UN back in September and eagerly sign up for your fourth and final year of the conference. After years of hard work, you finally land a spot on a Security Council country—the United Kingdom nonetheless! So you pick a committee and do extensive research, compiling it into six papers which are all sent in to the conference. This paper-writing process, mind you, is a time-consuming beast that takes away from valuable weekend time that could be spent catching up on, say, an IA or Mrs. McCormack’s endless supply of book work. But still, you diligently complete these papers and this research so that you are adequately prepared for Model UN. Once you get to the conference, you absolutely show out; winning best delegate in the committee, qualifying for the national conference, and doing everything you can to represent your school and yourself in the best light possible. But wait—one student, whom you were grouped in a room with against your choosing, made the decision to drink whilst at Model UN, and since you were in his room, you, too, are guilty by association according to a rule unwritten in the Signal Mountain High School handbook. You still have your award, but are completely stripped of the pride and honor that should come with it. Instead, the day that you return to school, you are brought in to testify against a highly argumentative and accusatory administration. Seeing as how you did nothing that was, to your knowledge, against the rules, you tell the complete truth about the incident. Still, yo
