I think that the bulk of signal mountain seniors have no qualms with the administration. We have issues with the self appointed class ring leaders. Personally speaking I'm ashamed to be associated with this class because of the entitled troublemakers in it. I don't go to football games and basketball games because I don't like the overall attitude of the student section. It makes me uncomfortable and I don't want adults seeing me even around the group of "student section leaders". And I shouldn't feel that way at a school event. And it's not because i am a pussy. It is because I have some sense of a moral compass. I care deeply about this school. And it's because I care about my education which why we go to school. It's not about all the extracurriculars like some seem to think. School is for giving our selves the best possible foundation going into college. I have gotten to the point where I feel hostile towards so many of my classmates because I witness everyday their lack of respect for authority figures. I can't not understand why just because you don't like a rule that you feel like you have some god given right to change it. Last time I checked we are all still teenagers and should respect the adults around us. I also don't understand how "rebelling" and raising hell are going to get the administration on our side. They aren't here to be our friends. They are here to run the school. And our class is making that an extremely difficult task. They are just doing their job. And just to go ahead and address the compassion to the class of 2012. They were unified. We are not. That is obvious. They had good clean fun for the most part (I'm aware of the booze cruise and several other events) but they were a classy grade. Most of us are good students and people. But our entire class has been labelled because of the few. I think it's time for the kids that don't get in trouble, aren't out to get the administration, and are taking full advantage of the quality education w
