We are looking to change policies surrounding the learning of sign language in New Zealand. Many people in our country suffer from impaired hearing or deafness, and lack of awareness surrounding this issue can cause them to be shut out and defined by their disability. In promotion of a progressive, inclusive society Sign Up looks to make sign a more accessible language to learn in New Zealand via policy change.
