To celebrate 50 years of Lloyds Bank in Upton, Lloyds have decided to close this much used and highly valued branch. It is a hub of the local village used by elderly people and business alike. We must make a stand against big banks; it's not all about making money, it's about serving their customers who have been faithful to the bank and this branch for many years.
Not only does Lloyds service the local area, it also encourages people to use the village, helping to boost the local economy whilst supporting small businesses, many of which have also been in the local area for many years.
