I'm signing this petition against the current Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Nigeria, Joash Amupitan. By the recent report of his partisan disposition and political affiliation as tracked through his past political comments in an X Account. Secondly his subsequent denial of an account which all investigations have shown without any doubt or equivocation that he is the real owner of said account have posed his lack of integrity undebatable. I have done some research to investigate the account and the phone number linked to it including the email, and identity reviewer app like True caller has indicated that he is an INEC official, Chairman precisely, also Opay confirmed he is the owner of the phone number. Also, the phone number was also confirmed in his public curriculum vitae CV which also carries the email linked to the account he is denying today. With the above reasons and his subsequent baseless denial through the commission's media aids have placed his integrity and reputation in a questionable position. So to sustain the non partisanship and neutrality expected of the electoral umpire, this kind of individual lacks the requirements to be in the helm of the affair of our democracy which we're battling to restore after its attempted extinction by some antidemocratic elements. Mr. Joash Amupitan should honourably resign and focus on his political career. INEC is a non partisan institution which sole goal is the defense and sustainability of democracy and its administration is not obliged to be held by politicians which character and integrity is at stake. Democracy must prevail in our society so the voice of the people will be heard. Long live The Federal Republic of Nigeria. ~Wonderful Deedum Handsome ~ ( Pianist Wondrous Jesus @facebook)

He must resign based on incontrovertible fact of evidence of being partisan in comments made in past on his X. Any election conducted by him can't ever be accepted.

He is a supporter of Tinubu based on his comments on X and the previous elections he conducted in FCT LG poll. He can't conduct a credible election.
