FORMAL PETITION FOR THE IMMEDIATE REMOVAL OF THE INEC CHAIRMAN
To: The Appropriate Authorities
We, the undersigned concerned citizens of Nigeria, hereby submit this petition calling for the immediate removal of the Chairman of the , Prof. Amupitin, from office.
Our demand is based on the following critical concerns:
1. Erosion of Public Trust: The leadership of the Commission under his watch has significantly diminished public confidence in the electoral system.
2. Administrative Inefficiency: There have been recurring reports of poor management and lack of effective coordination in the discharge of electoral duties.
3. Lack of Transparency and Accountability: Key processes and decisions have not met the expected standards of openness required in a democratic system.
4. Undermining Democratic Principles: His continued stay in office poses a serious threat to the credibility, fairness, and integrity of Nigeria’s elections.
In light of these issues, we respectfully but firmly urge the relevant authorities to act decisively by removing Prof. Amupitin from office in order to restore confidence and safeguard Nigeria’s democracy.
We trust that this petition will receive the urgent attention it deserves.
