JL Crowe Secondary's outdoor education program purchased baby ducks about a year ago and it saddens me to say that they were killed to be eaten. Our school called them our "Pet ducks". Our food classes have eaten them. They made soup. And unfortunately, our school just got 6 more this April. School is out in June and they plan to kill them before the school year ends because we "can't keep them over the summer". There has got to be another alternative.
