The ECU Board of Trustees wants to raise undergraduate tuition by 9.5% and graduate tuition by 9.9%. We, the students, cannot afford more tuition increases. We cannot afford more student loan debt. The ECU Board of Trustees have already approved the tuition hikes. How...ever, they must be approved by the UNC Board of Governors in February to be implemented. Our plan is to send our signed petition to the ECU Board of Trustees and to the UNC Board of Governors before the increases are implemented.
