Let your City Council know that you want a responsible business in our Community on the corner of Atlantic and Washington. 24/7 traffic, pollution and crime. Say NO! Commerce Deserves Better!
I have been spending my evenings walking the neighborhood and talking to families who are worried about the noise and safety issues a round the clock store will bring to our streets. It is clear that we all want the same thing for the corner of Atlantic and Washington. I am currently gathering our collective concerns to present directly to the council members.

Seeing this momentum grow proves that I am not the only one worried about what a round-the-clock store will do to our quiet streets. My neighborhood is worth protecting from these changes and it feels incredible to know so many of you agree.

The City of Commerce already suffers from too much pollution and traffic. Having a Walmart here would only be a short-term improvement to our quality of life. Our health is put at even more risk. Our children growing up here are subject to more pollution. Also, with Walmart comes crime and who wants that? I say NO to Walmart!

Walmart does not provide their employees with essential benefits, like health insurance. Commerce should consider a Sprouts market to provide affordable healthy food.

A Wal-Mart in commerce will not bring any benefits to the city first of all if people are looking for jobs, Wal-Mart does not pay well, there will also be more traffic due to the trucks of Wal-Mart and that also means more idling and pollution.

Don't want a Walmart and especially a superstore in Commerce or anywhere else in our communities. Let our local business owners flourish and give jobs with dignity to our neighbors.

Being born and raised in City of Comnerce I feel we have to be selective in which Corperations operate in this city. We need to maintain a high standard for the working people, and be an example to our youth! Walmart does not meet those standards in my opinion. #nowalmartincommerce

Walmart will bring more crime, truck traffic, transients in mobile homes and worst of all MORE POLLUTION right next to the most environmentally impacted neighborhood in the City of Commerce. #CommerceDeservesBetter
