Body autonomy is one of our most basic rights. Its one we even afford the dead. By banning access to abortion and thereby banning a woman's right to body autonomy aren't we in effect saying corpses have more rights than women do???

Enough with legislating what should be a private medical decision between a woman and her physicians.

Abortion is grounded in a woman's right to her body. Even if we all play along with you and pretend that a fetus is a person (which given that >99% abortions happen well before viability is just not true), EVEN THEN if she wants to empty out her uterus, it's her decision: she owns her body. The Government doesn't own her body nor does the Church and neither have any business to dictate its usage for forced gestation. As long as America can value the property rights of rich above the "right to life" and the property rights of rest of the citizens above the need for blood, organs etc to save lives, according to the 14th amendment that provides women equal rights as citizens, America must honor a woman's right to own her body.

I am worth more than a blastocyst, zygote, embryo or foetus - more importantly my Daughter is worth more, We are more than our reproductive ability!

Women deserve to have authority over their own bodies.
