A new addition to the Google tool bar is the "Sidewiki." This function allows users visiting your site to comment in a box that covers nearly one third of your virtual real estate when activated. Comments of any kind can be left, and you have NO CONTROL to moderate what is being said. These comments are available to those who do not even have a Google toolbar installed on their browser. Currently there are ways to avoid Sidewiki from interfering on your personal sites by installing code on every page you have. But aside from that, many Web 2.0 sites where you may have submitted materials are vulnerable. This has opened a huge Pandoras box where any spammer or person wishing to sabotage your business or reputation can freely comment as well as direct your traffic elsewhere. Please!
