I support having a shuttle to the Barry Building. I park in the handicap parking near the Barry Building. If I am later than 7:15-7:30 am there is no spot available. I cannot walk from the garage to the Barry Building.

I'm curious if the shuttle service will only be available to employees participating in the 'Parking Can Be Fun' initiative or if there will also be an opportunity for employees to have a central pick-up location if they park in one of the garages?

I support having a shuttle for employees and families to and from the West side of campus.

I feel like this is long overdue. As the construction has expanded the burden on Barry employees has been pretty stark. It has been especially difficult for employees with chronic health conditions or who have been pregnant and have had difficulty walking through the Memphis summer heat. As construction continues to affect access to Barry, the shuttle service is essential.

This is a no-brainer. I work out-of-state/remote now and I love walking, but that walk from Barry to MTC in the weather was not pleasant in work clothes and carrying stuff.

Happy to support this, as shuttling is not only a matter of convenience, but also necessity for some of our fellow employees.
