Close down great Leaze
Great Lease farm is like any other intensive egg unit, Smelly, big, cramped and any other words. The hens of Great Lease farm only see the outside when they get put in the units and when they come back out in 1-2 years of solid egg laying. The egg industry kills hens at this age because they are considered \'\'spent\'\' which littery means they don\'t lay enough eggs to suit the farms profits. Then the hens are stressed as the \'\' catchmen\'\' grab them by any part of their body and toss them into crates for a long journey to the slaughterhouse, When they reach the slaughter house they are strung up by their feet on hinges going around like a conveyer belt, then go through tanks on scalding jot water to kill them ( even tho many lift there heads and miss this part of the procces which then leads to them having their throats slit while they are still fully conscious). When they are all killed they will be turned into cheap products like oxo cubes, chicken pie and even baby food.
