omegle isn't the whole problem, if your worried about your children on the website that should be on you to block the site any sites related to omegle yourself. the site tells you that it isn't safe for children that's why they suggest over 18 to use it or 13+ WITH PARENTS PERMISION AND SUPERVISION! if your not monitoring your children's online activity that's on you not the website. there is a huge benefit for being able to use omegle respectively and properly, that's communication something in todays setting with the lockdowns and with the over amount of no communication being made its a great website to go on and just talk to people, whether that's with the video stream or with the texting version. honestly its not gonna solve any problems if its shut down since there are a lot of sites related to it that are active, also to not the amount of pedos on the website are easy to avoid if you know how to use the site if you know what to look for before you see any un wanted images. just like any part of the internet you need to know how to use it to then use it safely. also if your trying to hide adult nudity from children then i think you should try cracking down on adult content xxx sites instead.

Not all adults who venture onto Omegle are pedophiles but if they hang out long enough online disinhibitions can set in and before they know it, they are drawn in just like the kids are drawn in.
