No common sense. Make it even, tell Amazon to stop selling products to people in Quebec if there is no French equivalent for the product. You can't invent a French version of something when it does not exist.

This is just bad for the economy now that online shopping is a regular thing. Let's keep our money in our province please.

Les jeux de plateaux et jeux de stratégie avec figurines sont un domaine particulier dans lequel il est impossible de fournir systématiquement une version française qui n'existe simplement pas. Les versions françaises quand elles existent doivent être importées et coûtent un bon 10% de plus. Les clients ne les achètent pas s'ils peuvent lire l'anglais et s'offrir la version anglaise. D'autre part je fréquente de nombreuses boutiques de jeux de Montréal et il est faux d'affirmer que celle dont le personnel est anglophone, servent en anglais uniquement, toutes ont un personnel bilingue qui sait s'adapter à son interlocuteur de façon spontannée. Il y a matière à étudier ce cas particulier et revoir la charte pour ce type d'articles.

I believe that we should have the choice to choose what language we decide speak..as long as we can understand each other there is no reason for this law.

If you hate corporations, then you might want to try not shutting down small businesses in a niche market just because you're afraid that 90% of the province will suddenly stop speaking french.

Dumb. I can order English-only games from Amazon, or support a local business. I guess the government would rather I spend my money outside of Quebec. Idiots.

I don't feel that this is a law that makes sense if the boardgames company does not make the actual game in French... I am French and English... And I feel that this law is unjust unrealistic... The person that wants the game will go online and by it from out of the province... At least if it is sold here the money comes to a citizen of Quebec that pays his taxes and spends his money in Quebec
