I AM 100% SICK OF BEING FORCED TO USE SCRATCH. Scratch (at least for me) was FORCED upon every student in my primary schools (all of them, I've been to three). What they called 'STEM' was really just a cover for something disgusting: SCRATCH AND BLOCK CODING. Even something they called 'Code Club' was ONLY SCRATCH, AND THE ONLY ONES EVEN ALLOWED TO USE PYTHON WERE THE YEAR EIGHTS. Scratch itself is, as block coding, helping make it harder to learn actual, useful programming. It makes programming simple, convincing children of 4 and older that programming is easy. This leads to quicker frustration and more challenge when attempting text coding. Another thing, though Scratch was developed for 6-7 year olds, it is constantly being used in 11-13 year olds, much to the annoyance of those with at least 3 brain cells.
