The once-iconic serial Balika Vadhu has gone down the drain. Apart from a bigamous guy doing the rounds and wanting to get married a third time (!), the proposed third time is supposedly going to be (a) with his ex-wife's sister-in-law (bordering on incest) or (b) with a lady who is still married till date! What a wonderful social message - keep making marital blunders and get a new wife served up on a platter. In addition to this horror, we had a honeymoon in Kashmir, where the husband, a reputed Government official, was captured by goons. Although the serial backtracked by saying it was a case of mistaken identity and that no terrorism was involved, is that really the way a responsible channel wants to promote a terror-free Kashmir? The serial is an eyesore now, even catching the promos is torture. Please Colors Viacom, shut down this show and salvage whatever little respect this show enjoyed not too long ago.
