As a registered veterinary technician in Huntington beach, CA, I am utterly appalled by Ark Animal Hosptial. I hope Rucca makes a speedy recovery. I am so sorry for your experience.

I've personally had a working interview at this hospital and will never step foot in there again. Illegal practices are happening.

Animal hospitals like this should not be able to continue to treat animals. A good veterinary would not have done that to a dog. They would not have given her too much of anything and they would not have lied various times to the pet owner. Horrible.

This is wrong on all levels. And this seriously broke my heart. Reading everything and seeing the photos and the video. You could hear in their voices they didnt care. They were way too calm to have done that to someones pet/companion/service dog. Let alone just a living thing in general. They deserve to have their license revoked and taken away. I have 3 dogs of my own and I would honestly hurt them as much as theyve hurt my dog if I were in the position. Just because youre a new employee does not mean you have the right to treat someone like less than what they are. A human being.

I had my girl fixed. They kept her overnight to keep an eye on her. This vet is a poor excuse of a vet. If this was a human child there's no doubt this place would be under investigation and or shut down.

No excuse, EVER for an incision to look like this, to be treated that way, you know that poor girl felt everything. And then the video. Shut them down!!!!
