Shuswap Indian Band membership elected a 'new' Chief and Council in November 2014. Since then, numerous positive changes have been made; including an open house and band meeting in May. In the sixth months of difficult accounting and human resource changes within the band administration, the membership is able to able to receive updates and support. We the undersigned believe in supporting the elected Chief and Council, as well as supporting administrative staff to fulfill the necessary duties as required on behalf of the membership. Change is not always easy

not a band member , but change has brought a lot out for band members to see and to participate in what is to happen.

Change is progress; changes made since November are for the better! Open your eyes everyone.
This new Band council has such a job to sort threw ... 30 years of... !! Change takes time and effort of council and the people. They deserve Respect ,Time and Support of all band members and non band-members alike . If you want to change somethings, you have to CHANGE somethings.
The new council is a very positive step forward.
Martins should be in jail for what they've done, that's what happens in the real world when you steal!
This Band council has such a corrupt mess to sort threw ... 30 years of it!! Change takes time. They deserve Respect ,Time and Support .

Absolutely Chief and Council deserve a chance! It would be impossible for them to rectify 30 years of corruption in six months. Council is working away at it and has made amazing strides. They need all the support they can get as they are facing some pretty harsh, unfair criticism from a small faction of self-serving detractors
