It's our body. It's our skin. Nobody should be able to tell us what we can and cannot do with ourselves. People claim that tattoos make people look unprofessional. Others say tattoos make people uncomfortable. But that's just because of the stereotypes. We need to move past the stereotypes and realize that what's on our skin doesn't define who we are.
Should tattoos designate whether or not someone gets a job? No. What's on our skin shouldn't have anything to do with whether or not someone gets a job. Our education and our intelligence are the only things that should matter when it comes to getting a job.
It's the 21st century; we should be able to look past someones skin and see who they are, instead of looking at their skin and making assumptions.
If you agree tattoos should not designate whether or not you get a job, please sign.
