Although in 2020 I became a GREENVILLE County resident, I lived in CLEMSON for the previous 7 years. Ms. Boatwright has my respect and support for her progressive thinking and representation on the Pickens County Board of Elections.

I think that the items that Ms. Boatwright posted were meant to be funny. We are living in laugh or cry times. To attack her trustworthiness based on those posts is ridiculous. Has this much scrutiny been put on the other side of the aisle? The party you vote for does not determine your honesty-your character does. I would like Ms. Boatwright to continue to represent me.

Fair elections are the keystone to our democracy. Having a single party control the elections board would be anti democracy. It can go either way.

From what I understand, this is cowardly, anti-democratic, and ultimately “anti-American” behavior on the part of her accusers, who apparently lack the moral compass necessary for public service.

Seems a small vocal group in our county harbor some kind of hateful grudge against our single democratic representative on the elections board, on account of her “rough and rowdy” posts. The rules are plain and simple, and if they want to wet the bed every time someone expresses an opinion, they ought to get out of politics.

Lillian has shown nothing but love and compassion to every human that she interacts with, she has stood up for those who do not have a voice. We need more women like Lillian in public positions spreading compassion, equality, and speaking up for what is right.

Removing Lillian Boatwright will be confirmation that the Republican Governor is colluding with the Republican members of the Pickens County Board of Elections. It will make all election results from Pickens County suspect.
