I don't understand how a diner being next to a church is a problem? Because if parking is an issue, there is no valid argument. Parking is an issue for every business in the Highlands. I'm excited for this new diner, mainly because of the success of Rumplings and Roux. Can't Wait!

This is my neighborhood and I prefer diners over churches. We promise to stay off your lawn.

The Stagger brothers have opened some of the best restaurants in the greater area lately, I will continue to support their endeavors to bring good food and a warming environment to the community.

this is a great concept, with great people running the business. Let them help Louisville grow as a city!

A reasonable, small diner should not impact the church community. It sounds like a much better version of waffle house, which if my experience with church is correct, is ideal for being next to a church.

I love the concept for this restaurant including and especially the liquor aspect; the church next door can go jump in a lake.

America the Diner will be a desirable diner run by competent people. I am surprised and appalled to hear that Church of the Advent is opposing this, and almost wonder if the original news story is accurate.

It would be nice to have some where to go eat late at night. As a server, I get off work late and I'm usually hungry. The only options for food at that time are typically bar food and pizza.

The Highlands needs the jobs, economic development and delicious food America. The Diner will bring -- not more obstruction from neighbors who knowingly purchased homes near a commercial corridor.
Full support for this establishment. No reason whatsoever for there to be any concern for a new restaurant with such great ideas and fresh concepts in our great city! KEEP LOUISVILLE WEIRD!!!
