The local board approved the liquor license for America. The Diner. today. We turned that vacant building into a new home for our community because 269 of you took action to back this business. Keep an eye out for their grand opening so we can support them in person.

We are approaching 250 signatures and need to hit this goal before I take these numbers to the licensing board. Post the link to your Facebook page right now. Text three people in the neighborhood and ask them to sign before the end of the day.

The feedback from neighbors is clear that this vacant property needs to serve our community again. I am currently reaching out to local zoning officials to ensure they see the overwhelming support for this project. Post this link on Facebook today and email your district representative to confirm you want this business open.

I could understand the objection if the plan was to open a bar but I fully support the idea of a restaurant with a liquor lisence in this location.
I don't understand how a diner being next to a church is a problem? Because if parking is an issue, there is no valid argument. Parking is an issue for every business in the Highlands. I'm excited for this new diner, mainly because of the success of Rumplings and Roux. Can't Wait!
The Stagger brothers have opened some of the best restaurants in the greater area lately, I will continue to support their endeavors to bring good food and a warming environment to the community.
It would be nice to have some where to go eat late at night. As a server, I get off work late and I'm usually hungry. The only options for food at that time are typically bar food and pizza.
The Highlands needs the jobs, economic development and delicious food America. The Diner will bring -- not more obstruction from neighbors who knowingly purchased homes near a commercial corridor.

This is what the residents of the highlands have been missing since twig and leaf changed their hours. This will be even better! It's about time!
