Why change something that isn't broke? Finishing early on a Friday makes more sense and benefits families that have family members that live away, giving an early start to the weekend. Also, for the students it’s a privilege that I’m sure they deserve after working hard all week at school! It has been such a great idea and worked well for many years. It will be such a shame to change it to a Tuesday, which will add no benefit to families or students.

As a parent of pupils in year 8 and year 10 I have found the early finish great to get an early start on weekend travel arrangements. We don't have any family who are local.

I think we should leave earlier on a Friday because this seems much more sensible as we get to relax after a long week for longer as opposed to finishing early on a Tuesday which seems like it has been randomly chosen. This also allows one more hour to do things like travelling.

I strongly believe that we should finish early on a Friday as opposed to a Tuesday as this provides us with a longer weekend, and a chance to relax at the end of a stressful week. It works fine as it is, so why change?

As a parent of pupils in Year 8 and 10, life would be so much easier if the early finish remained on Friday. It's difficult enough to visit family due to restrictions on school holidays, but getting away early on a Friday makes the journey (over 2 hours) so much quicker. A Tuesday early finish would be of absolutely no use to us.

If we have an early Tuesday it will upset the school routine. Keeping Fridays is something to look forward to after a busy week at school.
