Friday is a better afternoon off to give the children chance to do any homework before important family weekend time.

I know people who have arranged their working hours round a Friday finish. Bit rude changing it without consulting parents or pupils.

I completely agree - the Friday works well and it gives the children something to look forward to at the end of the week. Many have also organised their working week on the basis of the children finishing early on a Friday.

This system allows our children to look forward to a long weekend.... if we change this I do believe the children will suffer

Leaving early on a Friday is such a treat their weekend starts early and its somethings to look forward to. I really don't think it will have the same affect for the students leaving early on a Tuesday.
