The feedback from the council remains discouraging and it feels like they hope we will just lose interest. I am exhausted from the back and forth but I promise the fight to keep our team at Mt Smart is not over yet.

Mt Smart is the heart of league in Auckland. Moving to Albany would be a joke for the true fans who have gone there for years.
Keep them at Mt Smart where they belong! Stop moving our team around.
'WHITE ELEPHANT' White Elephant, yes its a name we here in Auckland know all to well....example:- Aotea Centre.......some would say Eden Park, even the new council building....$157m, & now possibly Western Springs........... After reading an article in my local East n Bays Courier Nov 12, 2014........i felt compelled to have a vent on paper...or Facebook...hahaha.........$12m is what the council has earmarked for Western Springs revamp.......due to start June 2015 pending funding all tho it will happen......interesting....this comes as the council are cutting costs to save millions to keep rates down.......well great job.....now Auckland has a rates increase....... Its also good to see John Watson-Councillor has questioned this spend.... I myself are a crazy fantic warriors fan..(Da Mt Smart Rocker), was involved in league at Mt Wellington Rugby League Club for 10 odd years, which have had numerous junior team teams play at Mt Smart of the years. Mt Smart has always been know to every person whether you are a rugby fan, soccer or basketball etc as the Home of the Warriors........why is RFA willing to destroy this relationship is worrying........... I have to ask myself........Why does cricket need another ground....? I thought that the Eden Park Redevelopment was to the benefit of both Rugby & cricket............or were we just told that so we would go with 'The Plan"......... It also seems from reports & newspaper articles that since the RFA has taken ownership of the QBE Stadium, it has decided that if they want this stadium to be be their Eden Park of the North Shore c/w a retractable roof etc........they need to make money from somewhere so......lets force the Warriors to abandon their Spiritual Home of 20 years to relocate to the North Shore......but the RFA have forgotten about the diehard league fans that have already had their heart taken (Carlaw Park) & now they want to take away our Lungs (Mt Smart).....this will be a fight to the end........ Dont waste

The Warriors belong at Mt Smart. The team and the sport of Rugby League are no longer going to accept the poor cousin treatment. Councils should support their teams!!
