Students in the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas are forbidden to wear shorts after the 5th grade that are shorter than four inches below the knees. It gets hot in San Antonio, especially with outdoor hallways, and shorts that long are difficult to find (and, obviously, ridiculously long). This petition is to change the dress code so shorts are allowed to be as short as below the fingertips because nothing about shins or knees is offensive or provocative. I'd say if everybody shares, we can get 5000 signatures. Then, I, Paul Cozzi will take it to a school board meeting.
