The Utah legislature seems to have way too much time on it's hands for frivioulous message bills. The current legislative session is 45 days, January 21 to March 8. The important legislation such as budget and funding need only take a week or two. The less time the legislature has to stir up the citizenry, the less time the citizens have to take time off work and from their families to protest their ignorance and greed. They say they want smaller government and so do we, along with smaller salaries. Sign the petition to shorten Utah legislative sessions to two weeks and cut their salaries in half to help stop the government cheese for worthless legislators.
