Common sense regulations with a common sense approach is all that’s needed. Stop rushing into regulations without knowing the impact.

I believe we require more research before we move forward.

I never would have thought that Summit County would be forcing housing restriction more strictly then the town of Breckenridge. Guess if we want more freedom we should move to the city. The capacity limits will drastically reduce my rentals. The one size fits all approached simple does not work. My house is over a 1000 feet from my closest neighbor. I bought my house so that I can get together with my extended family. We have two bunkrooms that can easily sleep 12 people, all in real beds. We have been renting for three years and our neighbor have never had any issue. I have spoken to them all (I only have 3) and have given them my number incase an issue where to come up. The only thing they have ever asked is if they can rent it when their in-laws come to town. What justification does the county have to suggest my renters can't enjoy the house with their extended family just like I do? If any regulation is needed it should be to provide a way to eliminate or reduce problem landlords not pointless one size fits all rules!

This regulation is being rushed to completion with inadequate notification of and input from property owners. Implementation as written will create massive headaches for both owners and the county.

No... this is terrible for the smaller owners that rent their property out 4 times per year. Regulations are outrageous and extortionately to owners, . Vote no!

OVERREGULATION at its worst.

This is simply government over reach, establishing more bureaucracy, and their thirst for more tax revenue. Notice there is not one value added service they can offer in exchange for this.

Please don’t add more regulations and rules to an already overly strict system. Please keep things as they are.

NO more fees! These surcharges are excessive and further evidence of the gouging by local government to take advantage of the homeowners. If they want to raise revenue do so on consumption of goods and services like sales taxes or shuttle services to the mountains. Lodging already has a very high tax and surcharge rate in addition to existing high property taxes.

No more regulations. Re-zone if necessary. Short term rental regulations only opens the door for more short term rentals in established residential neighborhoods.

We do NOT need to regulate short term rentals in Lewis Ranch of Copper Mountain. We already have a 4% surcharge and the community is part of a PUD and has well regulated CCR's and other covenants. I strongly oppose such a measure

This is absurd the commissioners are trying to pass this new law without informing the homeowners! Furthermore, why don't you inforce the zoning laws instead of creating new laws!!
