B&B operators in Stratford should look at joining AirBnB themselves if they feel threatened. Maybe they don't realize they can. Don't leave guests without accommodations. It is not good for the city's economy.

Let the 2017 reservations carry on. Why should the people who want to visit Stratford suffer for the cities draft period. We need these visitors to Stratford to keep businesses going and the hard working business owners to stay in business!

We have travelled to Europe, through Canada & the U.S. & many destinations & booked through booking sites & we also offer a self-catering rental suite 15 minutes outside of Stratford. Our clientele love the privacy & personal touches. It's unfair to demand that they cancel this summer's reservations.

Short term accommodation in our homes means guests spend less on accommodation leaving more for theatre, dining and shopping. Plus, the home experience brings in families and a younger less affluent crowd and makes it easier to stay longer. If we short term accommodation hosts are willing to share our spaces and clean up after our guests, Stratford should love us!

The time is now while the new zoning bylaw is in its draft stage to address this issue. There has been a definite market shift towards accommodations and the City needs evolve its policies. While this process of compliance is worked out it is logical that the City should work with people in a grace period. A period where accommodation demands are met and the details of this new market era are developed.

Existing reservations should be allowed to be honoured. This would be awful to leave a person who invested in tickets for a show in the lurch like this.

Stratford’s ridiculous stance is beneficial to those of us outside the city offering what the travelling public wants. I would rather though Stratford took a sensible approach to the changing world. Cancelling reservations is just wrong!

Did the city shut down bed and breakfast operations while they worked on their by law? We just want to play by the same rules and writing them should not take years - we were told it would be settled LAST october. Now dragging on and on.
