Air bnb is our preferred accommodation for several years- we have flexibility we don't have with traditional B and B's. We just don't go someplace if we cannot get a small apartment-style place with a little kitchen.

I always use airbnb when I come to Stratford with friends. Take away this option and I will reconsider Stratford as a destination.

As a regular patron of the Stratford Festival, I wish to stay in a short-term rental. I believe I would visit Stratford more often if this level of accommodation were available.

Please keep Airbnb- is Stratford as it currently is. We travel often (3 times this month alone, and one 10 day stay in Quebec) for my son's hockey. Travel hockey is very expensive. We pay $600 per spring league, $2400 for the winter team and over $2000 for the Quebec, 10 day, Tournament. We use Airbnb- because hotels are much too expensive in comparison. We also like the added bonus of being able to prepare our meals ourselves and not have to eat out for every meal. Healthier and much less expensive.
By the time we got our schedule and tried to book a place to stay, all of the hotels in the Stratford area were already booked except for a few that were upwards of $180 a night...times 3 night and that is outrageous.
Please keep the rentals available as they are now.

Don't destabilize an emerging service until there is an opportunity for all stakeholders to work with the city to accomodate everyones needs and best interests - Stratford needs this option open in the meantime.

These are the kind of places we stay at travelling. Clean, friendly, AFFORDABLE and choices like kitchen access. We also contribute to the local economy! Often the choice when out of town is to just come home instead. Give these providers a voice!

Short term rentals are an essential part of our annual Stratford weekend. Pretending we are citizens of your lovely city for a weekend; shopping in the specialty stores and markets; returning to 'our place' for a late night super after the theatre - all important pieces of our Festival Outing.
