A number of short term operators have been ordered to cease operation and cancel bookings due to non-compliance of city's B&B licensing bylaws. Considering the growing popularity of short-term rentals (Airbnb & VBRO style accommodations) and the importance of tourism to Stratford, we are requesting that the city allow short term providers to continue operations and honour existing reservations for the 2017 Festival Season.
City Bylaws are currently under review and are expected to be completed by the end of the Festival Season. Short term accomodation operaters are respectfully asking for the voice of the community to be heard in revision of these bylaws.
