We as people in Wichita need to bring back a tradition that has never started. Bringing back Shocker football. In 1970 the shockers were flying to a football game when they hit a mountain. Late in the year Marshall Thundering Herd football team's plane got struck by lightning. 75 people were killed that day on November 14, 1970. They had nothing no players, no coaches, nothing. Since Marshall has gone on to win 5 bowl games and win 2 national championship titles. This just goes to show what a school can over come.
