Implementing this program into this prison would have a profound impact on the rehabilitation of the inmates of this facility, while saving many dogs from death. There is a great deal of research available on this subject to reinforce the success of these programs. My brother is doing a life sentence in Shirley Massachusetts. He has been in and out of prison his entire life. The majority of the inmates that are in any of the prisons in Massachusetts are constant reoffenders. The suggestion that the system has any form of rehabilitation is false. The main problem with this is most of these prisoners are released back into society in worse shape than when they arrived, which becomes society'sproblem.There is a program in a women's prison in Gardner Ma, that has a training program for these women to train service animals.
