We, the undersigned, respectfully request that Shimano make rider power data accessible for its e-bike motor systems. This data is a crucial metric for riders of all levels—whether amateur enthusiasts, dedicated athletes, or professional cyclists—as it provides invaluable insights into training progress, performance optimization, and overall fitness tracking.
Currently, the lack of direct access to rider power data presents significant limitations. Many third-party solutions are either incompatible with Shimano’s proprietary systems or require costly and complex workarounds. By making this data available—whether through firmware updates, API access, or integration with existing cycling platforms—Shimano would empower riders to make informed training decisions, maximize the benefits of their e-bikes, and further enhance their riding experience.
We believe that enabling this feature would align Shimano’s e-bike ecosystem with modern training methodologies and provide a more comprehensive experience for its users. We sincerely hope you will consider our request and take the necessary steps to implement this improvement.

I would really like to be able to see my power output so I know that I'm not overdoing my output on rest days
My Pivot Shuttle SL with a Fazua Ride 60 has rider power on my garmin cycle computer, but my new Orbea Denna with the Shimano EP801 does not. Please address and keep up with the competition. Thank you.

Pretty crazy I can't see power on my Garmin for my Orbea Denna M20I. Data should be free and open!

Data is fun. These motors are used on performace bikes whose owners enjoy geeking on data as much as riding the bike
