It has been announced that the 7th season of Shawn Ryan\'s FX series "The Shield", will be it\'s last, and is scheduled to air sometime in 2007/2008. The fans and addicts of the show "The Shield" are disappointed and wish FX, the cast, and crew of the series to reconsider it\'s decision, and continue creating the show. The undersigned of this petition consider "The Shield" to be their favorite show, and look forward to each episode with collective breath\'s held. They buy the DVD\'s, Soundtracks, and watch the episodes and sponsor\'s commercials. they hope that their favorite show on TV will not be silenced while it is still VERY popular. TV polls do not count for the true numbers of fans of this show, and they hope the petition here online will show everyone involved with producing "The Shield", how serious they are about their show, and how much they wish the people with the "kill" button to reconsider this decision, and not to shut down a show that has so much more to offer, so many more plot lines to discover, and so many of the characters that can be exploited for great stories. Thank-you for your time, and please listen to your fans. Other shows like "Family Guy" have been on the cut list until their fans spoke up, so it is hoped the same will happen in this instance.
