Shianna Hare a 2 year old little girl from Florida who was murdered while she slept in her crib by her mothers childhood pet an 8'6" Albino Burmese Python. This petition is to make a law that prohibits pets such a snakes in homes were children live. Many child die as a result of neglect and care of these type of animals as pets in homes of children. Sure her mother will spend the next 35 years behind bars, but what about little Shianna. The Python was not fed for months so if the mother could not afford to feed the animal then that is just another good reason Not to have the snake as a pet. Some creatures are better left in the wild. So please help by signing this petition so we might be able to save the next child to this cruel fate. They found Shianna with this snake wrapped tight around her tiny head with teeth punctures all around her body. This snake would have eaten her if the morning hadn't come first. Shame on these people. I say leave nature alone and in the wild not were your children sleep.
