Dear Mr. Eikenberry,
We are writing to request that Sheree Parsons be reinstated to the Columbus Academy bus route. We recognize that other Bexley bus drivers may be equally qualified but the relationship our families have with Sheree is invaluable. Disrupting that relationship would be highly unproductive for both our families and your staff.
With the school year barely underway, we ask you that you re-consider your decision for the following reasons:
Trust
The children (and parents) have developed an exceptionally strong and positive relationship with Sheree over the years. She knows each child individually and greets them warmly every day. As a result, the kids are comfortable riding with her and feel safe under every condition. The trust that the kids place in Sheree puts the parents at ease as well.
Continuity
As you may know, there is extensive construction underway at Columbus Academy. Bus locations on campus have changed and all the kids will be dealing with new routes to find the correct bus. We ask that your office help our families maintain continuity in at least one aspect of the daily commute so that this year is less stressful for the kids – and the parents.
Please place Sheree Parsons back on the Columbus Academy bus route!

This news is extremely disappointing. I believe that I have a unique perspective with Sheree and the Bexley bus. My son Michael shares time between the olentangy school district where his mother lives and the Bexley school district. I can tell you unequivocally that there isn't much that his mother and I both agree on but we both love that Sheree is charged with the safety and welfare of our son. We have had substitutite drivers and though are certainly capable, Sheree has something special that no substitute nor olentangy nor any other bus driver of academy kids has. We hope that the administrations oversight in just how much Sheree means to the kids of Bexley that attend academy will be corrected. Thank you,
Sheree has been the bright spot for our CA students in Bexley for as long as my son has been in school. They all love her, and if they do, the parents certainly do. She's kind, compassionate, competent and caring. Please allow her to rejoin the Academy route, and thank you for your consideration!
If the drivers all agree, there is no reason not to switch back and do what's right.
Please fix this. We pay a lot of property taxes and would greatly appreciate keeping sherree and not losing our long term bus driver due to unneeded Bexley bureaucracy
Sheree has been an integral part of my children's school experience. I strongly support Her being permitted to retain the Columbus Academy bus route she has driven for so many years.
Sherree has driven our children for so many years we consider her a very important part of our school year. I respectfully ask that you return Sherree to the Bexley-Columbus Academy bus route. Especially in light of the fact that the other drivers have agreed to let her return to her regular route.

I can't imagine a school year without Sheree. She is such a huge part of the school process for our family. With all of the changes around campus I took comfort in knowing that Sheree would provide consistency for our kids and make sure they are safe and where they need to be. Please please don't take Sheree away from them.
