Sherm deserves to be in the
Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame.
He was a special man and very funny. One time I was sick in New York with the flu and I called him in 3 1/2 hours he was at my apartment with soup and crackers. He was very Kind.

I used to tune in to any game from Fenway just for a chance to hear Sherm.

As a long time Red Sox fan I was so delighted to personally meet Sherm through my employer at the time. He was quite a character and whenever I went to Fenway he invited me and my son to visit him in the booth.
Sherm DEFINITELY belongs in the Red Sox HOF!❤️

I’m shocked Sherm is not in the Red Sox HOF. I “hear him” every time I’m at Fenway.

The Red Sox have 415 members in their HOF but if you gave 27 colorful years of your life to the organization then one more name should be added to it. Please induct Sherm Feller

Sherm had an amazing presence at the microphone at Fenway Park. His booming authoritative voice was that of a gentle professional. His many years announcing Red Sox games made Fenway Park helped attendees know that they were in a professional ball park in many ways. He truly deserves entry in the Boston Red Sox Hall Of Fame!

Of course he belongs in the Red Sox hall of fame. His voice is what I remember as a kid. Me and my brother would always try to sound like him

I am not an old fogey but I grew up with Sherm and John Kiley at Fenway... why the current management, announcer(s), organist, and in-game program people feel the need to pander to the lowest common denominator is beyond me... it is a source of sadness and a reason I seldom attend a game nowadays. If I want to hear hyperamplified hip-hop, lounge-quality organ music, and carnival-barker PA work I have plenty of other options and none of this tripe should be part of the Fenway gameday experience, especially insofar as they are promoting Fenway as the big tourist attraction. Since they are unlikely to change this entire programme, at least indict Sherm into the RSHOF as a sop to us (young) fogeys... at least you might get us into the ballpark for his induction ceremony...
