"Ours - To Enjoy Today & Protect For Tomorrow" - Really Jimmy? You believe you have exclusive access to the natural world?
The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) protects areas of natural diversity for their intrinsic value
and for the benefit of our children and grandchildren. Accessibility for all Canadians!
Work towards a win/win - i.e. user fees, passes, universal restrictions, etc.
"Sign sign, every where a sign"
Jimmy boy, you're a churl. A bankrupt devoid of any class and integrity!

Screw the less privileged - build a wall!! Access to our natural world is for the lucky few. Let's not work towards a win/win solution that protects the environment.

This is one of the last (few) pristine lakes in Nova Scotia, let alone Canada. Please do not permit users of a lake that have no real vested interest, except to "fish and burn gas" on it's waters. If they want to fish, and boat - then buy property, and be tax payers, and invest in a cottage. Without having a meaningul involvement in the value of this lake (as a land owner), transient users (i.e. sports fishermen and their large boats) risk abusing the beauty of this lake.

Leave this lake private....land owners should get to keep on having a great, relatively untouched place to go!

Not mentioning the haste this public access has been thrown forward before an election, but there hasn't even been an environmental study done yet!

I agree that the level of public support must be determined before making a major monetary commitments and increasing the tax burden to the residents.

Muncipal Council should do the right thing and determine that actual true interest from the majority of the tax base before proceeding any further on this matter.

It would be appropriate for there to be current recorded data on the level of interest instead of relying on informal feedback in meetings attended by very few people many years ago.
