A few minutes ago I discovered the Shenmue III kickstarter campain. Now that I have finished pledging and sharing it everywhere I know, I NEED to do something about this missing stretch goal.
One of the wonder when we were playing the first two Shenmue was that we could get our save from the one and start the second from there. I understand very well how complicated it would be to offer a way to use our save from the dreamcast but making an HD version of the first two for PC and PS4 would give the same result with an even greater appeal
I was always convinced this would actually be a first step to be done in order to prepare for a Shenmue 3 on new support and I'm sure I'm not the only one
We are already seeing it in the comment on the Kickstarter campain but just to make sure Yu Suzuki sensei does not miss it I think this petition is a neccessity

damn you´re right. sega own the rights of both.
shenmue 1 and 2 should be in the strech goal, because there is many players that didt'n exist when the two first games came out on dreamcast and xbox.
It was made clear (if you read it properly) that SEGA own the rights for Shenmue I & II. Address your petition to SEGA.
I want a physical copy for ps4 and shenmue I and II in HD for ps4 physical too.
And make a Physical Copy of Shenmue 1 and 2 for PS4 and PC if you can,
A release of 1 and 2 for iOS would also make some sense.
I don't even understand how this was not a default stretch goal already

There is no easy way to enjoy the first two games on consoles or PC today. This would really go a long way in sparkling a new interest in Shenmue 3
